Notice is herein given that the next meeting of the Property Services Committee of the Parish Council will take place on Monday 15th July 2019, starting at 7.30pm in the Jubilee Hall, High Street, Heighington.  Public Participation and questions will be invited prior to the agenda business and all are welcome to attend.

1. Chairman’s opening remarks and welcome.

2. Apologies, Declarations of Interest and Requests for Dispensations.

3. To approve Facilities Manager’s notes from the meeting of the Property Services Committee on 29th April 2019 as minutes.

4. Planning matters:

18/0039/FUL - 19/0569/VARCON 9 High Street, Heighington, Lincoln

Application to vary opening hours ground floor Beauty Salon (sui generis) to mixed A1 retail use & A3 tea room/coffee shop. This application has been approved my NKDC.

5. Facilities Manager’s report (for information only).

The handyman has not completed any repairs due to Bardney Bridge being closed for repair and the cost involved in traveling expenses.

Repairs to the flag pole have been completed.

All repairs to the play areas which were brought to our attention by the annual inspection, have now been completed.

New padlocks have been fitted at Station Road Pavilion and keys distributed.

It has been reported that there have been large quantities of rubbish left at Potterhanworth Road Sports ground. The situation is being monitored.

6. To consider upgrading security locks at Station Road Storage room as a matter of urgency as quotations have been received.

7. To consider urgent repairs to the side gate near the Tennis Court at Station Road Recreation Ground.

8. To note that the lock on the toilet door at Potterhanworth Road Sports Ground has broken again.

9. To note the installation of the artificial grass at the MUGA, Potterhanworth Road Sports Ground week commencing the 8th July 2019.

10. To consider putting out to tender for electrical work in the office at Jubilee Hall.

11. The extra brown bin has now been received at Station Road Recreation Ground. Confirmation email received from NKDC stating an additional bin would be chargeable at £42.00 and that the annual cost for 2020/2021 for both bins will be £42.00.

12. To consider moving the picnic bench from the sports field at Potterhanworth Road Sports Ground to Station Road Recreation Ground.

13. To note that the gate at the Bowling Green, Station Road Recreation Ground will not require immediate attention now as agreed with the Bowls Club. The Council will continue to monitor and obtain quotations for replacement.

14. To note that the dual-purpose bin stickers are peeling off and requires attention.
