Employment Committee 2023

The Employment Committee meeting was held on Monday 9th October 2023 at 6.30pm in the Jubilee Hall, High Street, Heighington.

There were no members of the public present.

Public Participation 

There were no comments.

001/E/23 To elect a Chair for this meeting

Cllr George volunteered to take the Chair for the meeting, and this was resolved.

002/E/23 To receive apologies for absence, these having been submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting

There were none.

003/E/23 To note that the minutes of the last Employment Committee meeting held on 17th April 2023 were approved at the Full Council meeting on 15th May 2023.

This was noted.

003/E/23 To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and receive Requests for Dispensations

There were none.

004/E/23 CLOSED SESSION. To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following staffing item on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

It was proposed by Cllr Watkinson, seconded by Cllr Rushby and resolved to move into closed session.

005/E/23 To review a staffing matter and consider any contingency plans required 

Contingency plans were discussed, and it was resolved to recommend these to Full Council.

The meeting closed at 6:55 pm.
