Heighington WI supported by Heighington Parish Council are running a one-day course for women and girls (over 12) on Sunday 29th September, 10:00am to 3:00pm, at the Jubilee Hall, Heighington.

Tickets are £3 for under 18s and £5 for 18 and over. Refreshments and lunch provided.
This event is suitable for all women. 95% is discussion-based, with a physical option. The day will cover:
• How to de-escalate violence
• Warning signs of attack
• Psychology of attackers
• Self-defence techniques
• How to be a hard target
• Setting boundaries
The instructor, Dene Josham has experience as an A-list bodyguard , security and self-defence expert.
