The Scarecrow Festival starts TOMORROW! (18th September)
It’s nearly time to get out and about and discover this year’s scarecrow creations!
Running from tomorrow until 27th September, the Scarecrow Festival gives you the perfect excuse to take a wander around the three villages of Heighington, Washingborough and Branston and see what you can spot along the way.
We’re hoping there may still be a few last-minute scarecrows popping up around Heighington, as we’ve had fewer registrations than usual this year. But don’t worry — there are plenty of scarecrows to discover across the other villages too, so why not grab your family, friends or walking boots and have a wander?
A huge thank you to everyone who has made a scarecrow this year and especially 1st Heighington Rainbows for their fantastic wooden spoon scarecrows at the Jubilee Hall, and 2nd Heighington Brownies, who will be installing their scarecrows at the Jubilee Hall too.
Festival maps for all three villages are available from the Jubilee Hall foyer, which is open Monday–Thursday, 9am–1pm.
