The 2025 Scarecrow Festival, run in conjunction with our neighbours at Branston and Washingborough parish councils, is coming to a street near you, between 22nd and 29th August.

Councillor vacancy - now open for co-option
Following the resignation of Angie Hemlin, and having followed the due process giving parishioners the chance to call for an election, NKDC have now confirmed this vacancy can be filled by co-option.

Road closure: Station Road
We have received notification from Lincolnshire County Council of a temporary traffic restriction affecting Station Road (between Sheepwash Lane and Curtis Drive), from 06/09/23 to 08/09/23.

Clarification on road closures
The parish council would just like to clarify that we are not involved in imposing and managing road closures (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) when there are roadworks in the village.

Road closure - High Street, Heighington
A temporary road closure order will be in force on the High Street, Heighington, between Park Lane and Potterhanworth Road, and also on Merrycock Lane. This will be in effect from 24/07/23 - 01/09/23.
