Heighington W.I.

More than just a meeting: lunch club, book group, summer outings, tea parties, annual dinner, theatre trips, talks, craft evenings,Christmas party, harvest supper, regional group talks, outings and courses plus the opportunity to debate resolutions for consideration at the anuual meeting of the National Federation of Womens Institutes.

Heighington WI is now over 100 years old with the first meeting being held in February 1918 and at our monthly meetings we continue to offer a wide range of speakers, a variety of activities ranging from dancing to Indian cooking plus craft evenings as well as social activities during summer months, trips to the theatre, a lunch club and a book club. We are a very friendly and sociable group and give all our visitors a warm welcome.
