Jubilee hall

On the site of a former Girl’s School, which was purchased by the Parish Council from Lincolnshire County Council, after the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977. Following extensive fund-raising by dedicated villagers (led by Margaret Moran and Mary Round), grants from North Kesteven District Council and various other organisations and a substantial loan obtained by the Parish Council, the Jubilee Hall was completed in 1987. Built on the High Street, the Jubilee Hall nestles between old stone cottages and more modern houses.

The Jubilee Hall has parking to the front and rear of the building and 2 marked disabled spaces.  All entrances have disabled access and there is full access for standard chairs inside the hall as well.

The Hall boasts a dance floor and bar area, making it an ideal party venue for up to 80 guests. The hall also has fixing points for fitting marquee linings, thus disguising all the usual community building paraphernalia and gives the impression of having your event in a marquee.

If you wish to forgo some of the parking the front car park transforms into a secure area for children to play.

We also have tables and chairs for a seated event for up to 120 people.  A multimedia projector and WIFI availability makes it an ideal venue for conferences, meetings and talks.
