Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 11th November 2024 at 7.00pm in the Jubilee Hall, High Street, Heighington.

(Maximum 3 minutes per member of the public)
When members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. A question shall not require a response at the meeting nor start a debate on the question. The chairman may direct that a written or oral response be given.
AGENDA
1. To receive and accept apologies, where valid reasons for absence have been submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting.
2. To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and receive Requests for Dispensations.
3. To approve as a correct record the notes of the meeting held on Monday 14th October 2024 and for the Chair to sign these as the official minutes.
4. To receive reports from County and District Councillors (for information only).
5. To note the list of correspondence and meetings since the October council meeting.
Financial matters:
6. To approve the monthly accounts for October 2024, including List of Payments, List of Receipts, Net Position and Bank Reconciliation.
7. To note overtime worked in September and paid in October.
8. To consider purchase of a small fridge for the parish office.
9. To consider purchase and installation of a noticeboard for the bus shelter.
10. To consider replacing two of the noticeboards inside the Jubilee Hall, which have become difficult to use due to hardening of the backboard.
11. To note that the local government pay claim for 2024-25 has now been agreed and employers are encouraged to pay this (back paid to 1 April 2024) as soon as possible.
Planning Matters and Tree Works:
12. To consider tree works applications received from NKDC for consideration (including those considered between meetings).
a. 24/1270/TPO – T1 Sycamore – Fell, suspected Crytosrama Corticale. 2 The Manor House, Potterhanworth Road, Heighington.
b. 24/1271/TCA. T2 Beech – Radial reduction of 2m to clear electric cable. Shape the rest of the tree to maintain a balanced canopy. 2 The Manor House, Potterhanworth Road, Heighington.

a. 24/0657/HOUS. Receipt of amended plans/additional information. Replace all existing windows (including insertion of conservation roof light), removal of secondary staircase, raise ground and first floor levels to Utility and reorder ground and first floor layout to existing dwelling together with conversion of outbuilding into annexe/home office space plus siting of solar panels and erection of garden pergola (Amended description). 7 High Street, Heighington.

18. To consider proposals from the Cricket Club regarding grass cutting at Potterhanworth Road sports ground.
19. To review the Risk Register.
20. To consider the parish council’s response to the government consultation on powers to attend meetings remotely and on proxy voting.
21. CLOSED SESSION. To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
