7:00pm: 30 Minute Presentation – Heighington Beck

Lincolnshire Rivers Trust will deliver a short presentation on a potential project for Heighington Beck, as part of their ‘Bringing the Limestone Becks Back to Life’ project. There will be time for questions afterwards. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

 

7:30pm: 15 Minute Public Participation

(Maximum 3 minutes per member of the public)

When members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. A question shall not require a response at the meeting nor start a debate on the question.  The chairman may direct that a written or oral response be given. 

 

AGENDA

1. To receive apologies and valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting

2. To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and receive Requests for Dispensations

3. To approve the draft notes of the Parish Council meeting held on Tuesday 27th September 2022 and for the Chairman to sign them as the agreed minutes

4. To consider tree works application received from NKDC.

a. 22/1137/HOUS. Demolition of study/entrance to rear and erection of single storey extensions to the front and rear of the dwelling. 97 Washingborough Road, Heighington. Application approved.

 

Financial matters:

8. To approve the monthly accounts for September

9. To agree a S.137 grant of £50 for the memorial wreath

10. To review fees and charges and terms and conditions for hirers (room hires)

 

11. To review the revised Risk Register

12. To agree to sign up to the Civility and Respect pledge for the local council sector

13. To receive provisionally costed options for potential zero carbon parishes grant spend and agree the priority ideas to be progressed

14. To agree a councillor to attend the Remembrance Service and lay a wreath on behalf of the parish council

15. To consider whether to hold a festive tea event for parishioners this year

16. To receive reports from County and District Councillors (for information only)

17. CLOSED SESSION. To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following commercially sensitive item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
